We needed to upgrade our IT systems to coincide with our office move and quickly found that our previous supplier was not able to meet our requirements in the manner we needed. After previously having had some contact with E-mpower we asked them to quote for our requirements – we were impressed with the speed of their reaction and the way in which they formed a thorough understanding of our needs both in the short term and for the future. Due to unforeseen circumstances we had to change the previously agreed implementation date – E-mpower were very accommodating with everything up and running from day one. Their ongoing service is probably the best we have encountered in IT support, and we’re on first name terms with all their staff. We have no hesitation in recommending them to others.
We had reached a point with our existing IT provider whereby they could no longer support the needs of our growing business and the approaching introduction of GDPR meant that we were left with no option to consider other providers to ensure our systems were up to scratch. Our system had been tied up in knots and we were nervous to embark on what we imagined would be a nightmare for any new IT provider.
We met with a number of IT providers as we wanted to work with a provider for the long term. We were looking for a Company who reflected our own business by providing a consultative service and who effectively would operate as our "IT department" catering to our team's differing levels of IT savviness. E-mpower IT came highly recommended (and were nice and local!) so we met with them to discuss our current needs and future plans. Jaffer and Ian immediately put us at ease by listening to what we were looking for as a business, spoke through our options with us in a straightforward, non-techy and friendly manner. They made recommendations for improvements but were at no point salesy or pushy. We knew straight away that we'd found the Provider that we wanted to work with!
They instantly got to work untangling the mess that was our IT set-up. We opted for a complete overhaul and E-mpower IT installed and upgraded our hardware and operating systems and set up our local network (amongst many other things, I'm sure!). The "go live" day went without hitch and we had minimal down-time as the leg work had been completed at their offices. At no point did we have any concerns that things weren’t in hand! No questions we asked were considered silly or stupid and the answers given were always in a language we could understand!!!
We decided on a support package with E-mpower IT which has been invaluable to us since day one. Any tiny query or issue we have is promptly sorted by one of the team. Even when we think we have a complex issue, they make the resolution so effortless that we’re able to continue as normal within minutes. We have developed a great working relationship with the E-mpower IT guys and they truly feel like an extension of our business.
The impact E-mpower IT’s service to our business has been huge. We are able to operate smoothly with zero IT grumbles! Productivity has increased and our business is firmly planted in the 21st century. They have facilitated our growth and continue to support us with changes in our business.
